A Fiera di a Castagna (Chestnuts fair) is held every first weekend of December in Bocognano.
When it was created in the early 1970’s, a few volunteers wanted to save the chestnut production in Corsica. Today, the fair welcomes 15 000 visitors every year and more than 140 producers and craftsmen from around the Island.
