Tavera
The village occupied since prehistoric times
Tavera and its neighbor Ucciani are both nestled under A Punta d’Isa, in one of the biggest chestnut trees forest in the island.
The village is made of six hamlets of traditional stone houses and has been lived in since the bronze age, as its been discovered in the nearby prehistoric site of “I Casteddi”.
